We understand that from time-to-time, a postponement or cancellation of lessons may be required by
either party, and this will be handled by a case-to-case basis. In the case of the tutor, lessons
postponed or cancelled are to be accompanied by a legitimate reason, preferably with medical proof if
you are sick. Lessons which are postponed or cancelled without a legitimate reason will result in the
tutor being blacklisted for future assignments. In the case of the client, a postponement or
cancellation of lessons should be notified at least 2 hours in advance. In the event whereby this is not
fulfilled, the client will be liable to pay 50% of the lesson fee in compensation for the tutor’s time and
transport fees.
In the case whereby a tutor decides to cancel the assignment completely without a valid or legitimate
reason, he/she may not be entitled to any tuition fees for the lessons conducted. This will be
assessed on a case-by-case basis, and any decision made by us on the outcome of the case is final.
